I would say a very glossy black but that might look too Halloween-y next to the orange chair. Still...could work.

My vote is for a high-gloss, deep peacock color. Similar to something in the top two rows.

These are Benjamin Moore colors, but any brand will do. I like Glidden or Olympic (which is low VOC). A coat of clear polyurethane to top it off.
