schoolhouse rocks

Schoolhouse lights are a classic style that originated in the 1920's. It's known for clean lines and diffuse light, thanks to the distinctive full shade. I'm a big fan of any overhead lighting with a shade underneath. There is no point to having a beautiful shade around a pendant light, if you just have a bare bulb glaring in your face. I need to look good while standing at a kitchen island.
